My daughter has the Palbi 2 gene my husband passed of pancreatic cancer diagnosed after 10mths every symptom except jaindace, developed at end stage when Mets to liver. She has insurance. But very high co pay. She has a family and can not afford all the pre cautionary tests involved in diagnosis of all related to Palbi 2. Is there anywhere that cam help her with financial aid to help in early detection of this horrible disease. I still to this day feel of my husbands illness was looked into earlier he would have had a chance at a lo,get survival he was weak and had lost 80lbs at diagnosis He fought hard with chemo and radiation was told the tumor had been gone to no evidence but still in pain saw primary and sent to specialists for pain determination, until 3mth oncology visit where oncologist said must be cancer is back and we will set up a scan and see u in 2 weeks because 'he' was on vacation. Not liking, that answer took him to a new cancer care,by way of the ER and found it met to lover and had bile block and pressing on kidney :( at least 3 Monte of his pain could have been elevated had Dr pit him in hospital for drain :( bit never mentioned to us. I need to try to help my daughter avoid some of this needless suffering with more info and financial help. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Question 2 could a cause of pancreatic cancer be work related if a fire fighter? My friends husband is a fire fighter and they are claiming it could be work related pancreatic cancer. Thank you
