Hi,

My doc has told me that CA 19-9 is only one blood test and that you shouldn't worry too much - or get too excited by - just one test. He always says he is more interested in how I am doing and how I am feeling. What do your other blood tests look like? Are those numbers good or are they also worrying? Of course, the best thing to do is to simply ask your doc or any associated nurses. They should be open to your questions. If you are having pains, you should check them out and not worry about looking like a worry-wart. You are your own advocate and need to follow up on anything that is stressing you out. Good luck!
