Are you seeing a gastroenterologist and nutritionist? Are they following your vitamins/protein/nutritional status to see what you are lacking? Are you taking enzymes? Which ones and who is guiding you what to take? Are you taking any high calorie supplements and have you been taught how to increase the calorie content of everything you eat?

Are you having any nausea or decreased appetite/early feeling of being full while eating that could be caused by gastroparesis (a frequent complication of whipple)? If you have nausea or gastroparesis, those must be treated aggressively with medications or you will never be able to eat enough.

Are you being closely followed with dietary recommendations? At a minimum, get some ensure enlive supplements and drink 2-3 per day. Small meals spread throughout the day is easiest.

And get a second opinion from a GI and nutritionist ASAP. Also get your primary care doctor in the loop. As you may be learn, surgeons lose interest after surgery and oncologists are not experts on nutrition. You need a team to help you.
