In retrospect, my diabetes staff has apologized to me. I went sudden on-set diabetic at 67 and then, a year ago, what was under control went ballistic.
Both were signals that I had pancreatic cancer. My diabetic staff had just given a talk to the other staff on this and she apologized that she was the one who reviewed my numbers last year and not caught it. To me, that's water over the dam; the incidence of pancreatic cancer is so small. But, hopefully, it will increase the awareness of the medical staff for the future.
For family, no, I have no family.
But, that's OK.
Have a great day. I am in the upper Midwest and we just got a beautiful dusting of snow. Magical.
