my husband finished his 'regular chemo' and applied for a clinical trial at Hopkins. The 'window' of time allowed, by the trial parameters, between completion of standard of care chemo and initiating the trial drug was small and closing......our insurance company gave us a VERY hard time.......but, we were approved and got into the trial with ONE week to spare. So......it is nerve racking to wait, both for the trial and the insurance co, (and, quite frankly no one should have to battle insurance companies while battling cancer, but thats another argument)but the wait turned out to be well worth it for us. As the previous poster asked, please let us know what youare enrolled in and how you are doing ....... many of us hang on to trial outcomes as a beacon going forward.....God Bless.
