boosting hemoglobin counts was posted 01/17/2018 09:17 am by John1121

My chemo nurse suggested that I eat more foods with high iron counts to boost my sagging hemoglobin levels.

Are others having or have had the same situation?

Are there foods or drinks that you particularly recommend?

I also understand that there are differences between iron in foods and the absorbability of the iron content and that some foods (like those with high tannin levels) can inhibit the absorbability of some forms of iron - such as those from plants, but not those from meats.

Any thoughts on this as well?

Any food or drinks that you recommend to avoid?

Thanks,

John1121
