please, plese tll the person you work with to get a surgeon who performs whipple procedure. that person can advise re whipple. I had similar situation 16 yrs ago and had watchful waiting!!!I disagreed, and found a surgeon who felt a whipple was the only way to determine if the cyst was cancerous or not. it is not an easy surgery...but i did have caner and i am still cancer 16 yrs later!! tell the sooner the better to seek out a surgeon's opinion.
