I was in the hospital for almost two weeks after surgery. Sounds like you got home pretty fast. It took me several weeks to get enough strength back to walk for more than five-ten minutes at a time. Keep at it though, walking and staying on your feet will help. Learning to eat after surgery is a challenge. Things will keep getting better with time, but as far as feeling 'human again', that took me many months. (I was in good physical condition before surgery - the weakness that persisted was a shock to me.) Be kind to yourself, don't push too hard especially early on. Things do get better.
