I have an 8mm lesion(pancreatic endocrine neoplasm vs. acinar cell carcinoma) on my pancreatic tail and atypical cells on the body. I just found out last week and the surgeon is ready to cut the tail of my pancreas off and do a splenectomy. I know I am 'lucky' that they found it early but I do not feel so lucky. I do not know what to expect after the surgery and I feel I am on a limb by myself. I must sound like a cry baby to the people that have pain and larger lesions. I have no pain currently but was sick for a week this summer with yellow eyes. A friend was telling me about homeopathic treatments and my family got upset with me when I even suggested it.
