It is a good sign. A great sign.

Make sure your Mom is getting one of the bone strengthening drugs like Zometa once a month, as well as taking enough calcium and vitamin D. Ask the oncologist about this. Zometa and other medicines of this family (bisphosphonates) will help decrease the spread of the cancer in her bones, decrease the chance of fracture and help her pain over time.

Good luck in your fight. Hang in there.
