Thanks to both of you for giving us hope.......my husband is Stage 2b.....had distal/splenectomy........the surgeon told us '1-2 years'.....we are now 4 years post surgery and still holding our breath.........we want to 'just live our lives', but the reality is we knew of no one else whom had made it past 5 years, at this stage, so we are always living in the short term( dont plan vacations for next year, make no long term plans of any type) but it has taken quite a hefty emotional toll......it is SO wonderful to hear from those whom have made it past the 5 year mark( the 7% !!) !!! Thank you for sharing !
