My mom after chemo-whipple-chemo schedule has had a relapse of the cancer (only surmised by very high ca-19 ~60-70,000 range and large and quick buildup of ascites/fluid). Multiple CT scans are showing no signs of any tumors or any issues with liver or kidneys. Am totally flummoxed! The ascites fluid has come up negative on malignancy in multiple tests. Anyone in forum have had this experience or has seen such results? What could it mean?

Thanks

Pp
