I was DX at Hopkins in 2012. Mixed IPMN/entire main duct/ rare do to size of Duct. Since have been DX/ uncontrolled Diabetes 11/ with insulin. Most recent problem: during episodes with pancreatitis, my Lipase remains normal and pain is ignored by ER staff. It was so severe, the last time that the pain was untreated it elevated my heart enzymes and I was instead put into the cardiac unit. I am in trouble down here in Florida it seems that though the ignorance of my disease just flies over everyone's head. Any suggestions as how to deal with this in order to save myself?
