I would strongly advise against anyone telling others on this blog to relax and dismiss concerns. Please save the over the blog diagnosis for something as minor as a mosquito bite. Pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis ( which can wax and wane) are very serious and debilitating disorders and his symtomology and elevation in lipase is concerning for acute pancreatitis. Please do not dismiss this individuals concerns. I don't care if you are a physician. Diagnosis in a blog is very inappropriate.
