I will speak from my experience as I did previously but first let's clarify I did not say that if you eat sugar it equates to death. I have malabsorption, I was failure to thrive as I could not eat or gain weight. It took me nearly a year before I could eat. I did not survive on Icecream and cookies but could only tolerate 1 tablespoon of food so I ate sunbutter high calorie healthy food, I drank high calorie protein shake which was full of natural vitamins and proteins. Of Course these had sugar but it's a healthier form of food. I read every label for added sugars vs natural sugars. ITD taken me 2 years just to gain weight and still struggle with eating and yes I will continue to eat healthier options of foods that provide high calories plus feed my body. It's a lot of work but for me to fight this disease I am willing to use every means necessary to have a good immune system do that I can fight. Healthy food is part of the regimen because cancer is brutal and extreme. You do what works for you. I'm sharing my experience that has helped me survive from a disease that kills 93% of us. My life is not easy but I'm alive and only control the things I can. Peace.
