Hi, my dad is 75 and 1 1/2 yrs post whipple. He has not had chemo since before Thanksgiving (8 mos or so) and they do not see cancer in any imaging and has normal CA19-9. He has lost about 100 lbs and hovering around 147. He has struggled with ascites, low albumin, no appetite, nausea, some vomiting, moderate diarrhea, lots of weakness, and now dehydration. He takes Creon along with lots of other meds and has normal blood sugars. Does anyone have suggestions for specific foods, diets, luck, similar stories? I want so badly to help him but this is such a difficult disease. His doctors are knowledgable and wonderful but can only do so much. I was wondering if there are food intolerances to avoid now, learned tricks, or other suggestions. Any information is appreciated. Thank you
