She was diagnosed last June, had surgery in July, low grade tumor, good margins, no lymph node involvement and then she had 4 months of chemo with Gemcitabine (Gemzar) oncologist decided not to do radiation as she got very weak during the chemo treatments. She has regained weight, her hair, which did completely fall out has grown back and she seems to be doing relatively well. Next CT scan is in July. Now we are just scared about what to expect next. We know it is likely to come back. It's so hard living not knowing when, and how the disease will impact her again. Living for each day as best we can.
