HEre's the thing. There is often no way to tell if it is cancerous, precancerous or a harmless cyst.In my case, they assumed it was a harmless pseudocyst but opted to take it out as it was causing severe pain symptoms. Bipopsy after surgery revealed cancer. I would have been dead in months if had not come out! Srgeon was shocked.
