A lot of people are wiped out after this surgery, and it sounds like your recovery was a bit more challenging because you spent some time in the ICU. That alone will take time to recover from. It is possible that your iron was low enough to give you low red blood cell counts that could also be contributing to fatigue. And that should improve with iron pills.

A few questions...

Are you eating enough? Do you have a decent appetite? Are you sleeping ok? Is your mood ok, or are you a bit down? Are you able to get in some activity/basic exercise every day?

All of those things that can affect your energy level.

If you are also feeling a little unsteady, ask your doctor for a prescription for some physical therapy - either in the home (if you are quite unsteady and it is dangerous to get out in this winter weather) or at an outpatient clinic. Having someone experienced help you strengthen your muscles and guide you in some basic exercise can improve your energy level, and keep you safe from falls.

Good luck, and congrats on the successful surgery!
