I don't know of any other test you would have but what is concerning to me is the pancreatitis and significant weight loss. What is the cause of the pancreatitis? Are you a drinker, smoker or is it unknown? What did they say about the weight loss? That obviously cannot be ignored. The only thing I would suggest is paying for an independent consult via the computer which I believe is offered at many of the big hospitals in the US. You would send your records and scans and they would review your case.

As a side note, apparently I had chronic pancreatitis and never knew it until the whipple surgery when it was found incidentally. Pancreatitis is a known precursor to Pancreatic Cancer so I would be worried. I did have adenocarcinoma. Maybe if I had know I had this things would have been different??? Can't wonder about that but if you can work on reducing your risk factors that would be my main focus.

Good luck and yes that other poster was annoying.
