PPI's was posted 11/18/2016 05:59 pm by P

My mom has had a Whipple (1.5 months) and has been on Creon and PPI's (Pantoprazole-40mg) since.

Just wondering if the PPI is a lifelong thing (like Creon) or do people ultimately get out of PPI's at some point in time?

Read somewhere recently that PPI's have now been blamed for long term bad effects like strokes, so thought I would ask here.

Thanks
