Dear, My husband had the Whipple in February 2011 and had greatt troubles to recover after the chemo following this operation .But I can tell you that now, he can eat what he wonts.The only thing is that he is very weak and will never be like he was.He is enjoying life, gardening, swimming, riding, reading, writing.He likes to be quiet and to do what he wonts to do...So do not loose your hope, keep going, it will be better end better.
