I'm so sorry you have to be going through this. It's been the scariest time of my life. I was diagnosed as well recently and I am also close to the same age-39. It was a huge shock to us also as I was previously a very healthy and active mom of two. My doctors tell me it's confined to my Pancreas and I am going through 4 rounds of Folfirinox - I've completed two. Mine would have never been found either but in May this year I had a weird Pancreatitis attack which I've never had ever. After many scans and an endoscopic ultrasound a 2.5 cm mass was found. After I complete my chemo I'll be rescanned and sent to have a Whipple procedure. Are your doctors hoping the tumors shrink so surgery can be performed? Folfirinox has been very successful with many people in shrinking tumors, hopefully this will be the case for your wife. Wishing you the best and try to stay strong.
