I am so glad you had the surgery and all is well wish you continued recovery and relief. I too had an IPMN and I had a choice to watch and wait. I have been in the medical field for 25 years and I thought watch and wait for what? I had a distal panc. and my IPMN was a main duct type which via reports always stated side branch. I went thru biopsy and all necessary pre testing. I took the approach I was not waiting for something that could turn sinister in a month year or even 5. Smart decision in my mind and turned out a life saver.
