Hi Barbara, I don't think it's necessarily from the bone marrow donor. I believe it's from the treatment before and after transplant. Chemotherapy clearly can cause another cancer. Before I got chemo the oncologist went over the risk and a secondary cancer was one of many things. Radiation treatment can also result in cancer. This may not be what you want to hear but the treatment albeit 'curative' may indeed cause major problems later on.

I'm sorry you are now having to face PC after battling another disease. Clearly it doesn't seem fair at all. Find out as much as you can. Ask a million questions, find the right team to offer a treatment plan and most importantly don't give up.
