Good post above!! My husband had a VERY ROUGH 2 years, after the Whipple besides radiation and chemo he had 2 more surgeries due to scar tissue. On feeding tube 6 months. Body had to adjust to not having a pancreas. (Brittle Diabetic) Have you taken someone with you to your doc's appt so they can have a little taste of what you are going thru! Always 1 step forward and 2-3 back!?! Hubby is 12 1/2 yrs out at the age of 83....Have you been to the 'Whipple Warriors site'? Good luck!
