This is worth serious consideration.

Cysts grow slowly, and even if this is a higher risk one it is quite slow to progress to cancer and even pancreatic cancer takes years to grow.

So if you are considering doing a preventative surgery, for something that may never even progress to cancer, and would do so very slowly.... take your time. Gather information/opinions. Find the best person to do it that makes sense for your life/living situation. And then do what you need to do to make it affordable.
