Has anyone on the forum had a Whipple procedure as a preventive to pancreatic cancer. I've been diagnosed with a IPMN and have been advised that this surgery would be considered a way to prevent the cancer from occurring. I have also read the many complaints people have who have had the surgery and wonder if they would have done it if not absolutely necessary. Any advice would be welcome, thanks.
