Lyrica is a newer sister of Neurontin (gabapentin is the generic form), and can also work for neuropathy pain. Good suggestion.

When Lyrica first came out, people thought it would be a revolution and take the place of Neurontin. But many people have more side effects with Lyrica, and it is more expensive, so Neurontin is still commonly used. Fatigue and edema are common with Lyrica.
