I had an EUS with FNA (endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration) for diagnosis. Not always done at smaller community hospitals. Don't now where you live, but thought I would mention that I went to Emory in Atlanta and was very happy with care there. My son is a physical therapist and was impressed with my fast recovery and results of whipple procedure done at Emory. Also, MD Anderson in Houton,Texas is another top ranked center for pancreatic problems. Get appointment ASAP at Hopkins, MD Anderson, or my choice, Emory if you can. Take some deep breaths and make your plan. Sorry you and family having to take this difficult trip through life. Sherry
