I had whipple surgery for an IPMN on July 1,2013. I do not have pancreatic cancer so I know my situation is different BUT I did have the whipple and duodenum removed. I do have bouts of diarrhea but only if eat too much chocolate and ice cream or other high fat food. I get most of my protein from fish and a few nuts. I do not eat red meat, nor fried food of any kind, and buy organic produce. I feel like diarrhea is controlled with the 1200mg calcium tablets and 65mg iron tablets that I take twice a day: one of each in morning and second tablets at night before I go to bed. Works for me. Don't know if it would help you or not but just thought I would give you something else to add beside a med. Sherry
