this site has been around for years and has many members. At the bottom of the pages it lists many kinds of cancers and conditions that happen with cancer and treatment. You can just read or talk to people in these communities by email. All the conversation goes to everyones email box. You cant find these conversations online in a search. i had friends here who used this and they thought the help and info was great. You can use the sohns hopkins site too. You can just read if that is all you want to do. You will read patients and caregivers and sometimes drs who join post too. I never used it but a friend would send me interesting info from what she got. You may even want to start a new email address just to receive these. It helps to hear from so many. I believe you click on the site you want and it takes you to a sign up and you send and as soon as they can you get one back and you let them know you have it and then they let you join It use to be you only have a certain amount of time to send it back to them. Not a lot of rules just no fighting. Just remember to keep up with the emails. You can leave anytime you want just ask to withdraw, it helps not to feel so lost and alone. You can share here what you have learned and let us know how you like the site. Good luck and eventually this site picks up. acor.org BTW you maybe able to keep your email addy private. These sites are run by nice people who only want to help so be nice listen to the rules.
