My Dad was diagnosed last fall with PC. Things were fine up until right after Christmas. Chemo didn't work at all and he started to have mini strokes and what not. We knew he was going downhill at the start of the year. Long story short, he lost the battle a few days into February. Made it 4 months from diagnosis. It went like wild fire all over his liver and then within 3 weeks he was gone. Was told he had 6-8 months left. He didn't suffer really besides the mini strokes and the issues those caused. He went peacefully that night. I say go and be with your family as you really do not know how much time is left. They could pull through this as well, I thought my Dad would. Just was not meant to be.
