I understand the we only deal wit ZES in medical school. I had colonoscopy and endoscopy yesterday and they looked good. This is 1st time in 2 years that I had good results so I was pleasantly surprised. My gastrin levels were 600 which is a lot better than 2000 that it was. Docs still hav me on ppi max dose 2 times daily and I also take carafate an hr. before meals and choletyramine packet 2 times daily. These medicines seem to work together well and help with my day to day issues. I also hav take pancreatic enzymes to help digest food but that because my primary tumor was on head of pancreas so they cut half of my pancreas out during whipple surgery. I hav go back 26th to cancer center to see what next. I hope you get your issues taken care of and most importantly I hope you can find your primary tumor so then you can be cured with surgery hopefully. Life after whipple is tough but it was much tougher when I had the tumors.
