I never thought I'd have to go down this road again. I lost my dad to PC in 2008. My mom now has a 'growth' in the tail end of her pancreas. Her symptoms are completely different. She does not have pain, weight loss, she still has healthy appetite. It's just so strange....she has a surgery consult coming up for a splenectomy and distal pancreatecotomy as they can't reach the 'growth' without it. The tumor markers are slightly elevated...not more then 100. She had a liver biopsy which was negative and a complete MRI which showed nothing else. The growth is the size of a walnut. Anyone have suggestions or insight...It just isn't the norm, my norm.
