Wow that's nuts; the health issues that have seemed to plague you. Gee whiz
is sounds horrible. How would you rate your overall day to day? Are you able
to work and if so are you active in your job? What about exercise/physical
activities how are you with those? I am curious what your GI says is the
status of your intestines as you seem to have multiple GI issues other than
the PC. Have you changed your diet or lifestyle? Sorry for all the questions.
Hope you don't find them intrusive. Just curious to find out about other
peoples experience post whipple and what others do.
I also have colitis which does not help with the diarrhea. Apparently per the
biopsy, I have had chronic pancreatitis. Never knew that although I
distinctly remember an episode of severe back pain which was diagnosed as
myofacial pain. Yikes, I cringe thinking about how this disease was missed
because I didn't fall into a particular category. No I don't drink, smoke and
a non meat eater.
I load up on multivitamins and liposomal Vit C which for me has made a big
difference in keeping my vitamins levels stable. My zinc levels were low and
now a zinc supplement has significantly helped with my nausea. Strange I
Hope to hear from you again. Stay strong, healthy and continued healing.
