I am 38 years old and had whipple about 8 months ago. This surgery is a manipulation of the digestive system and is of course very hard to overcome. I deal with pain and nausea on a day to day basis. Eating seemed impossible and the bathroom problems are horrible. I hope these issues get better soon. I will jus say this, I have had both vertical and horizontal incisions and the vertical was much harder to overcome.
