Thanks for your info. I've had lots of complications so unable to return after the 3 months of recovery like drs said I would. I guess I am getting frustrated at times when the drs ask me am I working yet although I complain of fatigue, severe diarrhea and weakness. I am curious were you able to collect disability or because you quit your job you were not qualified? I have been on work disability since the beginning but often wonder if my dr will get sick of filling out re-certification every 6 months after awhile. She tells me about her other pancan patient who plays tennis and works. Well that ain't me.

I spoke to 2 other people who had the whipple and both tried to work but like you had to quit. I guess I just don't understand the unrealistic expectations of these drs who think after having your body rearranged you can go back to normal as if nothing happened and shame on you if you decide to not work. I wish they could spend a day in our lives.
