Hi Darlene! I cant remember how much my ipmn had grown. Wish I could and will try to look it up if I can find the records. I don't think it had reached 3 centimeters yet but was close. The only EUS/FNA I had was the first one when diagnosed and it was benign. When I asked about having a second one when growth was noted, my gastroenterologist and surgeon both said their recommendation for the whipple would be the same even if the FNA came back benign again because just the growth and approaching 3 cm would mean losing more of the pancreas as well as higher risk of cells with high grade of dysplasia. I think you should ask for another EUS/FNA at the very least. I know I am glad I had the whipple as I am doing well and don't have the earlier stress of wondering if it had 'turned' to cancer as 33% do according to what I've read. Let me know how you are doing. So hard to know what to do. Sherry
