I strongly recommend asking the oncologist if there is a palliative care
doctor that can meet with your father and follow him on his course through
chemo. Palliative care doctors help with the symptoms of cancer, and the
side effects of the chemo, and help you face these hard decisions.
Specifically they help with pain, sleep, mood, energy, appetite, nausea,
constipation and more. And they will listen to your father, and help him
