Hi Donna. Great to hear that the captem is doing it's job! My husband was diagnosed with pnet 7 1/2 years ago. The most important thing to know is that nets are very different from other cancers. If at all possible, it's best to consult with a net surgical expert. Hopkins, is obviously, an outstanding hospital, especially for pancreas surgery but try to find a net expert, too. I understand that Dr Woltering's surgical team in Kenner, LA has extensive experience with vascular involved nets. There's a listing of specialists at carcinoid.org. I hope your husband continues to do well.
