At MSKCC I received chemo FOLFIRINOX even when my platelets were around 90,000. After each treatment an injection of Neulasta. Side.effects of the Neulasta can be prevented by taking Claritin the day before, the day of and the day after. Vitamin E should be avoided since it could lengthen clotting time.
