First scan after completing one year of azacitidine at JHH. NED! The most beautiful outcome anyone could hope for !The pre- scan anxiety was huge this time. Husband has only had a total of two months without chemo prior to the beginning the trial, then did the trial for one year to its completion. Finished trial in July. Now four months off chemo and so very fearful of hearing' mets' .......we know that one day we will hear those words but are ever so grateful that it wasn't this time. Hoping more people can be accepted into this trial and hoping more people have positive results! Participating in a trial is the one thing that gives us hope and we are thankful to have had this opportunity. May God bless all who battle this beast and may we all benefit from new drugs/trials which give us more time , more memories, more Thanksgivings to share with those we love.......
