My brother has been diagnosed with stage iv pacnreatic cancer in Aug-2015. We are receiving Chemotherapy and also doing some alternative treatments and exercise regime in parallel. I want to know if there is a test that is not very harmful to body (like pet scan) but still can tell us if my brother's cancer is getting better or worse before it is too late. I believe CA19 is not a good indicator of state of cancer and even CT scan is harmful because of liquid die and radiation from machine.
