Thank you for your message. I have a great GI dr and an OK oncologist. I have been researching alternative methods beside chemo and radiation but not sure what to believe any more. Since no one can predict whether or not the surgery is curative, I feel like a 'sitting duck' just waiting for cancer to creep back in and affect some other part of my body.

Even if I completed the chemo, the doctors still can't give you data that you give you some hope. For example some cancers like Hodgkins lymphoma have a much higher survival rate. I am working really hard on staying positive. The problem is that I am going through major transitions in life other than cancer which have shaken me to the core leaving me with little energy to stay positive and now the overwhelming feeling of despair has taken over. I am hoping if I hear from others they can shed some light on how to move forward. Thank you again for responding. It is greatly appreciated!
