This chemo is generally much better tolerated than FOLFIRINOX. So he should do well with it, if he did ok with the 3 chemo combo. We mostly dealt with drops in blood counts, fatigue, and some leg edema. Also low grade fevers.

Is there any way he could enter the Immunotherapy trial that is currently available at Johns Hopkins? This is an exciting new trial (see other threads below). It is my understanding that you are only eligible after failing FOLFIRINOX. So this is the perfect time for your husband. You can always save the Gemcitabine + Abraxane for later.

Are you near a major medical center that does clinical trials?
