Your family sounds a lot like mine. We also close relatives with pancreatic and colon cancer. Have you seen a geneticist for genetic testing? You and your brother should go. There are a couple genes you can inherit that increase the chances of inheriting these two types of cancers.

I haven't heard of the tea. Some in my family have talked about trying the Chinese mushrooms. I try to avoid smoking, drinking and try to have a decent enough diet so I don't develop diabetes. That will probably help the most.
