Did they find original pancreatic cyst incidently ? Did they identify the cyst as IPMN or other type ? Did the cyst change in appearance over time? To go from benign cyst after 2 biopsies to stage 4 pc is unbelievable. How frustrating for you and your poor wife to do all the right things and still not catch this early. Yours is not the only story like this. I am beginning to think that removing any cyst or lesion in pancreas is prudent regardless of biopsy.. Trying to convince surgeon of this is difficult due to morbidity rates. Best wishes for your wife to beat this. Sounds like all lesion are small and can be removed.
