I was in somewhat of a similar position and found it very difficult. I am definitely in the 'trust but verify' school. Eventually, I did 'verify' and the doctors were correct. But that verification gave me some peace of mind.

In my short experience with PC, I'm finding that the medical profession uses a different approach...less science and more art. It's been a hard adjustment for my black and white mind to make.

The only person who can make decisions is the patient...what best suits their physical and emotional needs.
