Hi everyone. Please, advise. Dad has 9mm Mets to liver post Whipple-Gemzar. Dear daddy is 74. His doc at JHH put two options. Start folforinox Or go into immunotherapy trials. Phase 2. Dad could barely tolerate Gemzar, counts kept dropping. I'm afraid that with the stronger chemo, regimens, he will be weakened greatly. Side effects of clinical trials are pretty minimal and shows equal promise to the toxic chemo regimens. What would you do?
